2011 chrysler town and country review

2011 chrysler town and country
The 2011 chrysler town and country minivan is offered in three trim levels: Touring, Touring-L and Limited.

Inside you'll find air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, a power driver seat, power-adjustable pedals, Stow 'n Go second-row seats, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, full power accessories (including second-row power windows and third-row power vents), a conversation mirror, a back-up camera, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 115-volt AC power outlet, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and a six-speaker CD sound system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and digital music storage.

Moving up to the Touring-L model gets you 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming side mirrors, remote ignition, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats and second- and third-row window shades. Other major options include dual sunroofs, a power-folding third-row seat, second- and third-row window shades, Bluetooth, Sirius Travel Link satellite data service, a rear-seat DVD entertainment center with dual video screens and Sirius Backseat TV.

The 2011 Chrysler Town & Country is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out 283 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque. The 2011 Chrysler Town & Country comes with antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, active front head restraints, full-length side curtain airbags, front seat side-impact airbags and a driver knee airbag. For 2011, the Chrysler Town & Country's interior gets a major makeover. With all three rows of seats in use, the Town & Country offers a healthy 33 cubic feet of cargo room. The multiple mechanical changes make the 2011 Chrysler Town & Country a contender.

The previous Town & Country's ride quality brought to mind a big American car from the '70s; it rode softly, with a bit of wallowing thrown in. The previous Town & Country was a creaky beast — you could hear the body flexing when traveling on uneven pavement. Both of those problems have been remedied in the 2011 Town & Country's substantially updated cabin.

Chrysler has updated one of its signature minivan features for 2011: Stow 'n Go second-row seats. Traditional second-row bucket seats are optional.

Nearly all the 2011 Town & Country's safety features are standard. That includes antilock brakes, side-impact airbags for the front seats, side curtain airbags for all three rows, an electronic stability system, active head restraints for the front seats and power-adjustable pedals.

In addition, the Town & Country comes standard with "SafetyTec," which encompasses a number of driver aids. As of publication, the 2011 Town & Country hadn't been crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Grand Caravan is to be the automaker's minivan value leader, and wears price tags of less than $30,000. Chrysler is betting that a more refined look inside and out will help the T&C's luxury message reverberate with minivan shoppers faced with new vans from Honda, Toyota and Nissan. The Grand Caravan remains a more upright, square-jawed vehicle, while the Town & Country comes up with a softer approach. There's a broad chrome band gussied up with the latest Chrysler logo, and a smaller grille than last year. The styling tweaks are the most noticeable change from the Dodge minivan. The new "Pentastar" powertrain feels fine for tugging a full crew around from shopping spot to shopping spot.

2011 Chrysler 200 Reviews

The 2011 Chrysler 200 isn’t a completely new car, but it is a major change from the previous model. There are two transmissions: A four-speed automatic for base model 200s, and a six-speed automatic for most others—a dual-clutch automatic transmission will be available on Limited models with the four-cylinder later in the model year. An S model will be added later in the model year.

Limited models check in at $24,495 and S model pricing has yet to be announced. No more rental-car blues for this sedan. The seats never caused discomfort during our time in the car.
So that leaves some uncertainly when discussing the 2011 Chrysler 200, a car formerly known as Sebring.

The Sebring's adequate but somewhat unrefined 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is still standard on most trim levels, but the new 283-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 is noticeably more robust than the outgoing model's V6. Overall, the 2011 Chrysler 200's makeover is impressive considering where the Sebring started.

The "2011 Chrysler 200 "is a midsize sedan that's offered in four trim levels. The entry-level LX model comes equipped with 17-inch steel wheels, a four-speed automatic transmission, air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, 60/40-split-folding rear seatbacks, full power accessories, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and auxiliary audio jack.

The Touring model adds some desirable extras including 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-speed automatic, automatic headlights, a power driver seat, automatic climate control, a trip computer, upgraded interior lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio.

A sporty S trim level, which will be available later in the year, tacks on the V6 engine, 18-inch alloy wheels, sport front seats with suedelike inserts and Boston Acoustics speakers.

The front-wheel-drive 2011 Chrysler 200 offers a choice of two engines. A new dual-clutch six-speed automatic, which promises better performance and fuel economy, will be available on four-cylinder models later in the model year.

The 2011 Chrysler 200 comes with a long list of standard safety features including stability and traction control, antilock brakes with brake assist, active front head restraints, front side airbags and side curtain airbags.

The Chrysler 200's design team did a remarkable job transforming the Sebring's low-rent interior into something that can now hold its own against its midsize sedan competitors.

The 2011 Chrysler 200 ranks 17 out of 18 Affordable Midsize Cars. The new "Chrysler 200" replaces the lackluster Sebring sedan. It’s no secret that the old Chrysler Sebring was the ugly sister in the Chrysler family. Not only did its looks draw criticism, reviewers unanimously panned the Sebring’s interior and driving dynamics. For 2011 Chrysler would like buyers to forget the old Sebring. Reviewers also criticize the lack of available features and space in the 200 compared to other mid-size sedans.

The Sebring comes with standard safety items such as dual front airbags, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, and stability and traction control systems.

2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible. Redesigned inside and out

Leaks aren’t typically a good thing when it comes to convertibles, but it appears the unofficial release of 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible press photos last week may have helped push the automaker to unleash additional information on its new midsize convertible.

Although the vinyl soft top option is no more, the 2011 200 Convertible will still be offered with either a power-folding cloth soft top, or a retractable folding steel hard top.

Chrysler notes its engineers have retuned the 200 Convertible’s suspension to deliver an improved ride quality, while simultaneously blessing the car with a number of powertrain upgrades. Expect finalized pricing for the "2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible" to be released shortly before the car reaches dealerships later this year

Chrysler Group LLC unveiled photos Monday of the 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible. Redesigned inside and out, the 200 Convertible replaces the lackluster midsize Sebring Convertible. Chrysler upgraded and retuned the car's suspension.

Consumers on the prowl for a comfortable midsize convertible may want to wait and see what Chrysler unveils in the coming months, as pictures of a Convertible Chrysler 200 leaked out on the web yesterday. “The current Sebring convertible comes standard with a 2.4L four-cylinder, and we expect that engine to carryover,” says Left Lane News. The automotive press expects pricing to be in line with that of the outgoing Chrysler Sebring convertible that the 200 replaced.

2011 Chrysler 300 next month at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show

Today, the company revealed interior images along with more information on the features of the full-size sedan. The biggest news inside — besides an entirely new interior — is the 8.4-inch LCD touch-screen multimedia center that comes standard in the Chrysler 300. We recently tested it in the 2011 Dodge Journey, and it offers a lot of capability, though navigation is not standard. The steering wheel looks to be similarly meaty to those in the Dodge and Jeep vehicles.
A panoramic sunroof — not usually seen on sedans of any type – is another premium option.

Chrysler has extensively reworked its flagship sedan, the" 2011 Chrysler 300", which makes its public debut next month at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show and begins reaching U.S. dealers in the first quarter.

Chrysler also has upgraded the materials in the cabin, which features a redesigned instrument cluster, sapphire-blue LED ambient lighting, wood trim and optional heated and ventilated nappa-leather seats.

Chrysler will launch at Detroit Auto Show the Chrysler 300 facelift. The admiral ship of Chrysler range received a facelift. Clearly, the Fiat-Chrysler alliance led to a series of bizarre events, such as a Lancia model with Mercedes platform and Chrysler engines. The model is still offered with either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive.
Because we speak by a facelift, the aesthetic modifications are the main change of Chrysler 300 model.

2011 chrysler 300 reviews

2011 chrysler 300 reviews
For 2011, Chrysler is refreshing its entire lineup, and pictures of one of the most anticipated refreshes have hit the web. Reviewers have had their first looks at images of the 2011 Chrysler 300. “All new cathedral-style taillights sit out back, with extensive chrome trim. Kicking Tires calls the 300’s new headlights “Audi-like,” thanks to a string of LEDs framing the main lens. Currently, reviewers have only completed first drives of refreshed models like the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Durango. If you’re in the market for a new Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep, you may want to wait a little while to buy.

Kicking things off, the 2011 Chrysler 300 comes with a distinctive styling that demands attention to itself. It has earned its spot as the most popular choice of vehicle within the large sedan vehicle segment. The styling approach on the 2011 Chrysler 300 is undeniably American with its double-lens headlights, bulging fenders, large chrome grille, and massive wheels. The dashboard design though is unique for emitting a sense of retro style that is all about luxury.
There are five basic trim level choices for the "2011 Chrysler 300": LX, Touring, Limited, -- and the SRT8. The LX model is the most suitable option for budget-conscious consumers but if you value more powerful road performance, then either the Limited or Touring trim levels can deliver just that.
Speaking of power and performance, the base model for the 2011 Chrysler 300 is not too impressive with its 2.7-liter V6 engine that can deliver only a net of 178 horsepower.

Chrysler carries over its venerable 300. The Base trim comes standard with a 190 horsepower 2.7L V6 and is coupled with a four-speed automatic. Also included are: 17-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes, single-disc CD player, and a four-way adjustable power driver's seat. You also get a standard electronically adjustable accelerator and brake, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), Sirius satellite stereo and leather seats. The C comes standard with Chrysler's proprietary Multi-Displacement System, which is a system based off of the Mercedes-Benzs S-Class (not to mention the myriad of parts Chrysler shares from the Daimler-Benz part-bin, even after that marriage failed).

Included are 16-inch alloy wheels, foglights, a rear spoiler, full power accessories, air-conditioning, a tilt steering wheel, a trip computer, keyless entry and a four-speaker audio system with a CD player and auxiliary audio jack. The optional Convenience Group adds a six-way power driver seat, a fold-flat front passenger seat and heated front seats.

The 2010 "Chrysler PT Cruiser" is powered by a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower and 165 pound-feet of torque. The only available transmission is a four-speed automatic that drives the front wheels. Fuel economy is a middling 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway and 21 mpg in combined driving.

Antilock disc brakes, front seat side airbags and a low-speed traction control system are standard for the 2010 PT Cruiser..

Those seated in back are afforded a pleasant view thanks to the Cruiser's slightly elevated rear seats, and head- and legroom are plentiful for adult passengers.
With the previous turbocharged engine no longer available, the 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser is left with the anemic base power plant and outdated four-speed automatic.

Recently I have rented this car. The ?steering wheel is made for a sailboat with an incredibly small turning radius. ? This car is dangerous to drive with a ?terrible side and back view, with blind spots of about 30 degree or so at each side! Also, the whole car starts shaking ?when accelerating or driving at any speed above 40 mph. Overall, very poor performance ?on every technical and mechanical parts of this

Chrysler 200 revealed‎

The thoroughly modern Chrysler 200 will replace the Sebring, Chrysler's ageing saloon, which enjoyed lukewarm sales.

The Chrysler 200 is powered by a 2.4-litre inline-4 engine mated to either a four-speed or six-speed automatic gearbox.

Interior fit and finish has blighted Chrysler Group cars in recent years, although the company stresses 'an abundance of quality materials' have been used.

Chrysler has officially revealed the upcoming 200 sedan ahead of its launch later his year.
The front-wheel drive 2011 Chrysler 200 is powered by a choice of two petrol engines; a 2.4-litre four-cylinder base engine and a 3.6-litre V6 motor

One of the biggest hurdles in the Chrysler Group's comeback from bankruptcy has been its weak entries in the mid-size sedan segment, where the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger have been languishing for years. The initial pictures don't show drastic sheet-metal changes, although Chrysler indicates the Chrysler 200 will benefit from "upgrades" to its front and rear fascias and fenders, grille, hood, rear deck lid and exterior mirrors, along with enhanced lighting from new projector headlamps/fog lamps, LED tail lamps and an LED center high-mounted stop light. The Chrysler Group has begun to develop a strong reputation for high-quality cabins, beginning with enhancements to the Dodge Ram pickup and carrying through to all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee; early interior photos from the new Dodge Charger and Dodge Durango also have been well received. The Chrysler 200 will become the smallest, lightest Chrysler Group product to pack this engine, allowing the powerplant to better show off its capabilities.

2011 Chrysler 200 mid-sized sedan

Chrysler announced that its all-new midsize sedan will be called the 200. Most notable from these snapshots are the narrower front and rear lights and the restyled Chrysler emblem. The 200 will come with a choice of two powertrains: the 2.4-liter four-cylinder carried over from the previous generation with either a four-speed or six-speed automatic, and higher-end versions will get the company’s new 3.6-liter V-6 with 283 horsepower and 260 pounds-feet of torque and a six-speed automatic. That’s more power than what V-6 versions of the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry or Ford Fusion produce.

We expect to learn more as the auto show season approaches.
Chrysler has revealed the mystery around its fully enhanced 2011 Chrysler 200 mid-sized sedan, promising fans and customers remarkable styling, reinforced driving experience, technology innovations, and of course abundance of standard safety features.

Chrysler is laying it on thick this week, with both the updated 2011 Chrysler Grand Voyager and Jeep Patriot revealed earlier today, and now a trio of teaser images for the upcoming 2011 Chrysler 200.

In Australia, the Sebring Cabrio is currently offered with a 2.7 litre V6 engine producing a significantly lower 137kW.
